We are in need of one parent representative to join our Safe Schools Committee. Preferably, a parent that works as a law enforcement officer or fire fighter that can offer that particular perspective. This requires 1 or 2 virtual meetings and most of the discussions will take place over email. Please send me an email to volunteer.
Quarter Two begins on Monday. Congratulations to everyone for a successful first quarter of Distance Learning. Classes have settled into a productive rhythm and for the most part, our technical difficulties are resolved. Parent-Teacher conferences went extremely well. Again, we know Distance Learning is not been ideal, but now more than ever, we are a team in ensuring your child’s continued academic progress and well-being. So, thank you for your enormous part in making the first quarter of our 2020-21 school year a success.
This has lots of fun activities but let’s not forget the real reason why we do this is to emphasis healthy and safe choices for our lives everyday of our life. Here is a link to the flipgrid

Felicidades a todos por completar nuestro primer cuatrimestre en aprendizaje a distancia. Las clases se han adaptado a un ritmo productivo y la mayoría de nuestras dificultades técnicas se han resuelto. Las conferencias de padres y maestros se han llevado a cabo con mucho excito. Sabemos que el aprendizaje a distancia no es lo ideal, pero gracias a eso, hoy más que nunca, trabajamos juntos ustedes y nosotros, en asegurar el continuo progreso académico y bienestar de sus hijos. Les damos las gracias por su enorme apoyo en hacer el primer cuatrimestre del año escolar 2020-21 un éxito.
Comenzaremos el segundo cuatrimestre este lunes con una Semana del Espíritu para toda la escuela, con el tema de la Cinta Roja.
Aunque estas actividades son muy divertidas, la verdadera razón por la que lo hacemos es para enfatizar que todos tenemos que buscar opciones saludables y seguras en nuestras vidas para asegurarnos una vida saludable y feliz.
