School Site Council

Valley Vista’s School Site Council (VaV SSC) is composed of equal parts school site staff (principal, teachers, support staff) and parent representatives (parents, grandparents, community members). The council’s main responsibilities include to collaboratively develop, monitor, and revise the annual Site Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), to contribute and approve the school’s Comprehensive Safety Plan and, to help improve school attendance and parent engagement. The annual SPSA is developed and implemented through on-going progress monitoring, goal setting, and the alignment of school funds in support of the SPSA. Both school staff and the SSC work together to keep this dynamic plan in progress and relevant.

School Site Council Meetings begin at 4:30 PM and are open to the public. 2021-2022 VaV SSC Meeting Dates are as follows: 08/25, 10/13, 11/17, 01/26, 02/16, 03/09, 04/20, 04/22, 05/18
