Tomorrow, December 15th, join us for a Valley Vista School Dine Out. Plan on getting your dinner from El Pollo Grill because our school will receive 30% of the proceeds from sales at both their locations as long as you let them know that you are there for Valley Vista. Attached is the flyer you can show them with the two locations and operating hours. Thank you in advance for supporting your school by participating in these School Dine Outs.
Tomorrow and Thursday, our PTO will be selling Valley Vista mugs & ornaments as you drive up to drop-off your children in the morning for $5 & $10. If you are interested, be prepared. This is a cash only sale.
En español: Mañana, 15 de diciembre, será un día de cena escolar. Espero y puedan comprar su cena en El Pollo Grill porque nuestra escuela recibirá el 30% de las ganancias de venta en ambas ubicaciones, siempre y cuando les haga saber que está allí por Valley Vista. Se adjunta el volante que puede mostrarles con las dos ubicaciones y horarios de operación. Gracias de antemano por apoyar a nuestra escuela participando en estas cenas escolares.
Mañana y el jueves, por la mañana, nuestro PTO venderá tazas y adornos navideños de Valley Vista por $ 5 y $ 10. Si gusta comprarlos traigan su dinero en efectivo por favor.
This will be a VAPA week for our students. By the end of this week ask your children about which classes they participated in. They generally rotate through 2 to 3 of them every other week: Art, Dance, Theater, & Science. Ask them what they learned and which one they enjoyed the most this week. They may have told you that our VAPA teachers are putting together our school’s annual Variety Show that will take place in the 3rd Quarter. Students get very excited about both participating in it and being able to see other students performing in the show.
We have 2 weeks of school left for this 2nd quarter of school – the half0way point. We will have some student award assemblies to which parents will be invited to. Keep in mind they will be outside, masks must be worn, and hopefully rain will not put a damper on them.

En español: Esta semana tendremos las clases de VAPA. Al final de la semana, pregúntenle a sus hijos cuales de las clases qué tuvieron: Arte, Danza, Teatro y Ciencias, les gusto más. Pregúntenles qué aprendieron esta semana. Es posible que sus hijos les contaron que nuestras maestras de VAPA están organizando el espectáculo de variedades de nuestra escuela. Este es un programa que se llevará a cabo en el próximo cuatrimestre. Les encanta a los estudiantes participar en el programa tanto como ver a sus compañeros actuar en el espectáculo.
Nos quedan 2 semanas de clases antes de terminar el segundo cuatrimestre del año escolar. Tendremos algunas asambleas para reconocer a varios estudiantes, se invitará a los padres, pero tenga en cuenta que estos eventos se llevaran a cabo afuera, se deberá usar mascarillas y, con suerte, la lluvia no nos echará a perder los planes.
Finalmente, busquen en Principal’s Corner que se encuentra como pestanilla (arriba) en este blog escolar para leer el resumen del Cafecito con la Directora que se llevo a a cabo la semana pasada.
