Veteran’s Day Holiday tomorrow!

There will be No School tomorrow in honor of the holiday. Regular school day resumes on Friday. Class begins at 8:15 and dismisses at 1:30 PM on Friday.

We have sent home two (2) different forms that we need you to fill out, sign and return please. The first is the Federal Survey on yellow paper and comes with your child’s name typed in it. We will need one returned for each student. The second one is on plain white paper and titled Housing Questionnaire. Each form fills a State or Federal mandate for us and are a District-wide procedure. Please look for these forms in your children’s backpacks, fill them out and send them back on Friday. Thank you!

Please note that we have lots of unclaimed hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, water bottles, and lunch bags that are overflowing our Lost N Found rack. We have spread them all out on our MPR floor for easy access and I invite you to walk through there on Friday morning or at pick-up time Friday afternoon to get whatever your child may have misplaced.

En español: Mañana, jueves, 11 de noviembre, es el Día de los Veteranos y no habrá clases. Volvemos a clase el viernes a las 8:15 AM con la despedida a la 1:30 PM como todos los viernes.

Hemos enviado a casa dos (2) formularios diferentes que necesitamos que llenen, firmen y devuelvan, por favor. El primer formulario es la Encuesta Federal en papel amarillo y viene con el nombre de su hijo/a escrito. Necesitaremos uno por cada estudiante. El segundo está en papel blanco y se titula Cuestionario sobre Vivienda. Cada formulario cumple un mandato estatal o federal para nosotros y vienen de parte del distrito. Busque por favor estos documentos en las mochilas de sus hijos, llénelos y envíelos a la escuela el viernes.

Finalmente, tenemos muchas sudaderas, chamarras, botellas de agua, y bolsas para el almuerzo no reclamadas. Están repartidos a través del piso en el auditorio para facilitar el acceso y los invito a ustedes a pasar por allí el viernes por la mañana o la hora de recoger a sus hijos para reclamar sus prendas perdidas.
