February is Black History Month and as such, we continue to emphasize the contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout this country’s history. In broadening our curriculum and knowledgebase to include all Americans and their experiences, we enrich our hearts and our own stories as citizens of this world. We continue to build this into our learning experiences throughout this month and beyond.
This will be a four-day school week giving way to a 4-day holiday weekend in honor of both Presidents Lincoln and Washington. There will be no classes this Friday, the 12th and next Monday, the 15th.
